The Smucker's Jar

The classic American brand Smucker's, which began as an apple cider-pressing operation at a mill owned by Jerome M. Smucker in 1897, is fourth-generation owned and has always had a 'give more than people expect' guiding principle to how they do business.

The embodiment of this principle is in their product:  Every jar of Smucker's jam, jelly and preserves is filled right up to the rim.  It actually makes for a volume of product beyond what is marked on the label ... so, for instance, the 32-ounce Strawberry Jam jar actually serves up much more than 32 ounces of toast-ready spread!

So ... what does this have to do with you, and us?

Here in our CMS offices, Jim has a Smucker's Strawberry Jam jar on display to remind us of this very principle:  giving more than people expect.

That is always our aim.  And we're not afraid for you to hold us to that!
